Account Manager II

The Account Manager is responsible for the sales of ZF Suspension Technology products and explanation of product capabilities to customers in the assigned region in order to maintain current customer account(s) and to achieve growth and profit from the realization of new products and new business opportunities. Position Responsibilities: Manage assigned sales accounts; as well as guide and train Chassis Suspension Technology (CT) sales representatives and/or coordinators. Participate in the development of an annual forecast for the assigned customer(s). Update sales forecasts on a regular basis and monitor performance of customer account(s). Identify New Business Opportunities (NBOs) and submit to manager for review. Prepare and/or respond to pre-awarded quotation requests and awarded program financial requests. Perform qualitative and quantitative market research; compile and maintain data on account(s). Provide manager with relevant KPIs and other monthly sales metrics as necessary. Highlight all significant activities on account(s) and report to manager. Manage expenses in an appropriate manner and submit expense reports for approval. Continually work with customer(s) to develop improved forecast accuracy. Supports the project team under the leadership of the project manager with all commercial topics during the product development and ongoing production. Topics include change requests, tool orders, purchase orders, etc. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies and trade shows. Participate in the development and continuous improvement of departmental guidelines and procedures. Comply with all TS16949 policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Experience: OEM Account Management (preferred); and/or relevant experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing, Engineering, or related field 6-8+ years of experience with sales, account management, engineering or a combination Proven project and time management abilities Broad knowledge of a discipline such as product engineering, automotive sales, OE account management, or inside sales and customer service initiatives with a high-level expertise in industrial/regional sales distribution chains, strategic marketing initiatives/research Solid problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work in an intercultural environment with international colleagues Ability to influence and engage personnel and management at multiple levels within internal and external organizations Superior interpersonal, communications and listening skills Preferred Skills and experience: Experience in Electronics and/or Automotive industries. German and/or Spanish language skills. req1928

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
