CORPORATE INTERNAL AUDITOR:
Position
Summary: The Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting in-depth company audits in addition to evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, structures, and systems - working as part of the North American region (RN) Internal Audit (VA) team - through critical analysis of internal performance, high-level process consultation, and strategic decision alignment in order to support and promote ZF corporate standards and business initiatives, all while ensuring local and regional compliance with global standards and objectives.
Position
Responsibilities:
Manage special audit projects and consultation projects as established by VA within the framework of strategic planning of internal audits.
Participate in the audit planning process for the North American region.
Analyze and optimize business processes through the continuous evaluation of operational performance, strategic planning initiatives, and asset allocation.
Design methods and concepts for the execution of audit projects; link project objectives to overall business strategy and risk assessments.
Ensure business compliance with economic efficiency, international regulations, and ZF security/functional standards during all audit projects.
Develop action plans and strategic recommendations for senior management based on financial analysis of complex commercial problems spanning finance, controlling, human resources, materials management, research and development, and/or sales and marketing as well as country-specific functional groups.
Conduct cross-functional and/or intercultural negotiations and construct rational arguments in order to communicate solutions and demonstrate the need for adjustments in business practice.
Develop and implement new auditing tools, methods, and technologies in synchronization with global VA.
Lead continuous improvement programs and promote team efforts and objectives.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline

years of experience as a financial/treasury analyst, accountant, or comparable position/experience
3
years of professional experience in audit (internal or external consultant)
Proven knowledge of accounting, finance, controlling, cost analysis, and purchasing processes
Working knowledge of logistics, IT, HR, and marketing/sales principles
Proven ability in ad-hoc critical analysis and the generation of monthly executive-level reports
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
Proven organizational and project management abilities
Ability to work in an intercultural environment with international colleagues
Ability to influence and engage personnel and management at multiple levels within internal and external organizations
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Superior verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to sensitive information
Proficient with verbal and written English
Willingness/ability to travel up to 50% (both domestic and international)
Preferred Skills and
Experience:

year of experience in the Automotive industry or international durable goods manufacturing industry
German and/or Spanish language skills
Master's Degree (i.e. M.B.A.) or other professional certifications (i.e. C.M.A., C.P.A., P.M.P., etc.)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
