Senior Financial Systems Manager

Summary:
The company is looking to bring in a strong Senior Manager, Financial Systems to continue to move its Finance systems to world-class levels of performance.
This individual will have global responsibility for all financial systems activity and is responsible for driving best practices of the financial systems processes and procedures.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and administration of the organization's financial systems, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning, and other financial applications Establish best practices for financial systems and ensure they are used throughout the organization by providing education and training Support and enhance business solutions by partnering with customers in other finance departments Execute the worldwide consolidation of financial information to include intercompany reconciliation, currency translation, and data integrity Maintain meta-data, rules, (entity structure, chart of accounts, intercompany elimination logic, cash flow logic) reconciliation templates, workflows, reports and security Performed all responsibilities in accordance with internal controls (SOX), where applicable.
Direct reports include three (3) analysts located in the US and one (1) in Poland Education and Qualifications A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively more responsible financial and financial systems experience in a company known for developing outstanding financial talent.
Exposure in a high-growth, multi-billion-dollar manufacturing organization is preferred.
Education credentials include a four-year undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or IT, with a master's degree being particularly attractive.
Five (5) plus years prior management experience preferred.
Strong internal controls and systems oversight.
Global experience and a multi-cultural mindset are advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills essential, with the demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
Personal/professional skills and stature to quickly gain respect and build strong working relationships throughout the organization.
Comfort working in a hands-on, highly engaged environment and willingness to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility along with a strong work ethic and bias for action.
High degree of enthusiasm, commitment, leadership skills and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
